Course Title (授業題目)

Introduction to Syntax

授業の目的と概要

この授業では，まず統語論の基本的な概念と原理を学び、その後にさまざまな統語現象の分析事例に触れます。また，口頭発表および自律的な学習習慣のスキルの獲得も目指します。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

This course deals with the basic concepts and principles of syntax as well as case studies of various syntactic phenomena. It also enhances the development of students’ skill in making oral presentation and self-regulated learning.

学習の到達目標

統語論の基本的な概念と原理について自分の言葉で説明できるようになること。
身近な言語現象について自分なりに分析しようとする姿勢を身につけること。

Learning Goals(学習の到達目標)

By the end of the course, students should be able to describe in their own words the basic concepts and principles of syntax, and develop an attitude of trying to analyze familiar linguistic phenomena in their own way.
