Literary Study of Chu Ci

授業の目的と概要

【目的】古典詩文の基礎的・伝統的な読解方法、テキストの校勘方法など、中国古典文学を研究していく上で必要なスキルを習得することを目的とします。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
【概要】中国詩歌文学の源流の一つである韻文文学作品集『楚辞』の代表的な作品である「離騒」を読解します。授業は、受講者の発表と質疑応答を中心に進めていきます。担当者は、テキストおよび関係資料を精査してレジュメを作成し、それをもとに口頭で発表をおこないます。担当者以外の受講者は、レジュメや口頭発表の内容について質問・意見を出し、双方の議論を通して、テキストに対する理解を深めていきます。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

【Course Objectives】This course aims to improve the students' ability to read texts of Chinese classical writings in a basic and traditional way, and to collate texts, which are necessary to study classical Chinese literature.
【Course Synopsis】Chu Ci is an anthology of Chinese poetry, which is one of the origins of Chinese verse literarture. In this course, we interpret Li sao, a representative piece of Chu Ci. The course is centered on students' presentations and question and answer sessions. In every class, presenters are required to prepare handout for the assigned part of the text, and other students are required to ask questions on and to comment on the presentation. Through discussions, students will reach deeper understanding of the text.

①Students will be able to understand the basic issues necessary to read Chinese classical texts.
②Students will be able to make intelligible handout for their presentations, and to explain the contents precisely.
③Students will be able to clarify problems of handout and presentation, and to ask questions on and to comment on handout and presentation actively.

授業時間外学習

予習：担当者は、テキストの担当箇所および関連書籍を精査してレジュメを作成するとともに、質疑応答に備えること。担当者以外の受講者は、テキストとレジュメを熟読し、関連書籍にも目を通して、問題点を発見すること。
Preparation:Presenters are required to read the assigned part of the text and materials closely and to prepare handout. Other students are required to read the text, the handout and materials carefully and to find out problems.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
復習：担当者は、授業中の議論を通して明確になった点を反映させてレジュメに修正を加えること。担当者以外の受講者は、授業中の議論によって得られた知見を自身の担当時に応用できるように理解を深めておくこと。
Review:Presenters are required to make corrections to the handout by reflecting issues clarified through the discussion in the class. Other students are required to deepen the knowledge obtained through the discussion in the class, and to be able to apply them to their own presentations.
