Abhidharmakośa of Vasubandhu : reading

授業の目的と概要

　Vasubandhu（世親）の著した『倶舎論』は，説一切有部の教学を簡潔かつ批判的に纏めた綱要書として余りに有名であり，単に有部の思想を把握する上からのみならず，瑜伽行唯識派など大乗仏教の思想を理解するためにも必要欠くべからざる基本典籍である。
　この授業では同書第1章（「界品」）の梵文原典をチベット語訳・漢訳とも対照させながら講読しVasubandhuの考え方を理解するとともに，“梵蔵漢３書を比較対照し考察を進める”というインド仏教文献を扱う際の基本的方法を学ぶことを目的とする。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

The Abhidharmakośa by Vasubandhu is very famous as an outline of the thought of the Sarvāstivādin in brief and critical manner, and it is necessary not only for grasping the Sarvāstivādin's way of thinking but also for understanding the thought of Mahāyānic Buddhism such as the Yogācāravāda.
In this course continuing from the last term, we will be reading Sanskrit, Tibetan and Chinese texts of the Abhidhramakośa( Dhātunirdeśa), which serves students to understand Vasubandhu's thought and to get a basic skill on studying Indian Buddhist Literatures, i.e. the comparative study of Skt.-Tibetan-Chinese texts.

The purpose of this course is to help students deepen the ability of reading basic Buddhist literatures, and obtain correct knowledge about some fundamental and important technical terms on Indian Buddhism.

　用いる基本資料は次の通り：
　・ 梵文原典： 『梵文阿毘達磨倶舎論Ⅰ界品』（江島恵教著），山喜房仏書林，平成15年.　
　・チベット語訳：デルゲ版及び北京版を使用.　
　・漢訳：『阿毘達磨倶舎論』（玄奘訳）；『阿毘達磨倶舎釈論』（真諦訳）.　　
※『倶舎論』を読解する際に役立つこの他の文献資料については，『梵語仏典の研究Ⅲ』及び『仏教研究入門』が参考になる。

授業時間外学習

予習時に前記基本資料を訳読すると共に，重要術語の内容確認等を行う。

その他

「インド学仏教史」専攻分野所属学生のみ履修可。
