Course Title (授業題目)

Academic writing Ⅱ

授業の目的と概要

この授業の目的は、大学や大学院の学習で必要なレポートや論文を作成する手順にそって、レポートを完成させるまでのプロセスを学ぶことです。そのために、テーマの調べ方や資料の調べ方、文章の構成の仕方、引用の方法などを学びます。また、ペアやグループで相互にコメントし、レポートをよりよくする方法も学びます。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

The aim of this course is to help students learn and experience the process of writing a report in Japanese. This course also furthers the development of a student’s research skills. Specifically, in developing a research topic and thesis, reviewing relevant literature, and learning writing structure and citation methods. In addition, students have opportunities to practice peer review and improve their reports.

The goals of this course are to
1. develop the writing skills and learn useful expressions.
2. learn proper sentence construction.
3. learn the skills necessary for writing a report or a research paper

教科書はありません。授業のときに指示します。参考書は『あしか：アイデアをもって社会について考える（レポ―ト・論文編）』（ココ出版）、『ピアで学ぶ大学生・留学生の日本語コミュニケーション』（ひつじ書房）
など

授業時間外学習

ほぼ毎回、作文の宿題があります。授業では、宿題で書いてきた作文をペアやグループで読み合います。

このクラスは外国人留学生のためのクラスです。
