Course Title (授業題目)

Development of Perception, Cognition, and Kansei Science

授業の目的と概要

本演習では，実験心理学研究論文を取り上げ，①研究背景から研究仮説の導出，②仮説検証のための研究方法の選択，③適切なデータ処理，④研究仮説と結果との違いに基づいて述べられる考察の理解，に着目して話題提供・討論を行う。さらには，⑤取り上げた研究の新規性についても討論を行う。演習で扱うテーマは知覚・認知・感性が基本となる。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

In this course, we will read recent papers from experimental psychology and discuss them with the focus as follows: 1) the way to form a research hypothesis, 2) the selection of research methods to test a hypothesis, 3) sound data processing and analysis, 4) discussion based on the difference between hypothesis and results, 5) the novelty of the topic. Especially, we will mainly explore the topic of perception, cognition and Kansei.

①自分自身の問題意識や関心に基づいて，研究論文を選び出し，必要な情報を読み取ることできることを目指す。
②仮説検証方法の妥当性を評価できるようになること。
②先行研究との比較の中で，当該研究の意義・新規性を評価できるようになること。
③新たな研究課題を見つけることができるようになること。

Learning Goals(学習の到達目標)

The aims of this course are to help students 1) select a research topic and paper based on their interests and read the information they need, 2) evaluate the validity of hypothesis testing methods, 3) evaluate the novelty and significance of the research, and 4) find new research questions.

この科目は対面での授業を基本とする。ただし，状況に応じてオンライン授業を行う。
なお，授業資料と授業情報についてはClassroomを使用して発信する。

成績評価方法

出席(20%)，発表(40%)，討論への参加(40%)をもとに評価する。

教科書および参考書

授業で用いる論文について指示する。もしくはPDFファイルの配布を行う。

授業時間外学習

授業内で扱う研究論文を通読しておくことが必要である。適宜，授業内で提示されるキーワードや重要研究について，論文・書籍・URLなどを通して理解を深めることが望ましい。
