Course Title (授業題目)

Study on artworks

授業の目的と概要

東洋または日本美術の中から、特に興味を覚えた作品をとりあげ、各回一名が口頭発表をおこなう。作品そのものの十分な観察をおこなった上で、自身が設定する問題について考察する。その作品について先行研究がある場合は研究史を十分に回顧し、先行研究が乏しい場合は、自ら作品に関する基礎資料・関連資料を博捜・精読・整理する。発表及びその後の討論を通し、参加者に対し自らの考えを的確に伝えるよう努める。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

Students take up the artwork that one was particularly interested in from Oriental or Japanese art, and give a presentation at each class.

美術史の基礎である作品分析の方法を身につけ、それを自身の考えとして的確に伝えるスキルを習得する。

Students learn the method of work analysis which is the foundation of art history, and acquire the skill to describe one's own idea.
