Method of Studies on Japanese Modern History（2）

授業の目的と概要

日本近世・近代史研究演習Ⅲの研究発表をふまえて、さらに研究を進めて、その成果を報告する。そして、討論を通して課題を絞り、論文などにまとめていく。このことを通して、受講者が、日本近現代史における現在の研究内容について学び、新しい歴史研究の構築とその内容の理解について認識を深める。近現代史で卒業論文を書くことを考えている者は必ず履修すること（3年生も）

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

Based on the research presentation of the Advanced Seminar on Early Modern and Modern History in JapanⅢ (Method of Studies on Japanese Modern History (1)), students will further research and report the results.
Then, through discussions, students narrow down the issues and summarize them into papers.
Through this, participants deepen their understanding of the contents of Japanese modern historical studies. This course will be taught in Japanese.

学習の到達目標

(1)先行研究を分析・批判して、自らの研究課題を選定できるようになる。
(2)自らの研究課題にそって、自分で史料を収集し分析できるようになる。
(3)上記の２つの点をふまえて、歴史研究の研究論文をまとめることができるようになる。

Learning Goals(学習の到達目標)

(1) Students will be able to analyze and criticize previous research and select their own research issues.
(2) Students will be able to collect and analyze historical documents according to their own research issues.
(3) Based on the above two points, students will be able to compile a thesis on historical studies.
