The Laws and Society of the Kamakura Period　2

授業の目的と概要

　「鎌倉時代の法と社会(1)」の続講。単なる史料の読み方や基本的な知識を学ぶ場ではなく、問題点を発見し議論する場と位置づけているので、発表者には問題提起的な報告をすることが求められる。また、それ以外の受講生も主体的に議論に参加しなければならない。受講者が任意にテーマを選び報告する機会も設けたい。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

This class is the continuation of “The Law and Society of the Kamakura Period 1” in the previous semester. This class aims to findissues and discuss them. Students who are presenting are required to make presentations that pose issues. Students who are not presenting are to read the source materials and to prepare questions and comments before class.

(1)中世史料の読解力を身につける。
(2)鎌倉時代の法と社会について理解を深める。
(3)報告・討論の方法の基礎を身につける。

教科書および参考書

テキストは開講時に配付する。参考書は瀬野精一郎編『鎌倉幕府裁許状集』上下（岩波書店）。
The text will be handed out at the beginning of the course. Reference book is Seno Seiichiro“Kamakura Bakuhu saikyozyou-syu”

授業時間外学習

報告者はおおよそ1月前から準備を行うこと。報告にあたっていない学生も事前に史料を読み、疑問点・問題点を整理してから授業に臨むこと。
Students who are presenting are to prepare their presentations one month in advance. Students who are not presenting are to read the source materials and to prepare questions and comments before class.

その他

日本史演習「鎌倉時代の法と社会(1)(2)」（柳原担当）は連続履修すること。
Students must take “The Laws and Society of the Kamakura Period” 1 and 2 consecutively.
