Course Title (授業題目)

Basics of learning psychology and psycholinguistics

授業の目的と概要

学習心理学および言語心理学は、いずれも人間の行動様式の変容過程について、実験によって確かめようとする科学的研究分野です。本科目では、学習・言語心理学の要点を理解するために、受講生自身に文献を理解してまとめ、他の受講生と共有してもらいます。一つの知見を得るために対してなぜそのような方法論がとられているのかを考えながら、科学的方法論の趣旨を理解することを目指します。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

The study of learning psychology and psycholinguistics involves scientific investigations utilizing experiments to examine processes in which human behaviors change. To have a general understanding of these disciplines, students are required to summarize a paper to share with other students. They will consider connections between purposes and procedures to understand essential components of scientific research.

学習の到達目標

学習・言語心理学の考え方や方法論の概要を理解する。当該領域の文献の要点を過不足なくまとめて専門外の他者にもわかりやすく伝えられるようになる。

Learning Goals(学習の到達目標)

Upon completing this course, students should have a general understanding of the concepts and methodology of learning psychology and psycholinguistics. They will improve effective presentation skills using their everyday vocabulary to share major points of research papers in this field with those without the knowledge.

期末レポート（50％）、発表分担（30％）、毎回授業後の課題（20％）

Grading Plan(成績評価方法)

Grades will be calculated based on a final paper (50%), a presentation in class (30%), and minute papers (20%).

授業時間外学習

受講者全員に発表を担当してもらうので、その準備を他のメンバーとよく協力して進め、自分の分担作業は責任をもって行うこと（その自信がない場合は受講しないこと）。
