外国語教育実証研究法
Empirical Research Methods in Foreign Language Education
外国語教育における実証研究は、研究デザインから分析結果の報告に至るまで科学的な手法に沿って行われます。そして実証研究論文では、実験方法、実験参加者、実験手続きなどの詳細を研究結果とともに詳しく報告する必要があります。この授業では、外国語教員を目指す学生だけではなく言語学分野における実証研究を行うことを予定している学生を対象に、実証研究を行う上での基本的な知識を習得した上で、研究デザインの作成、データの分析、結果の報告のし方を学びます。
Empirical research in foreign language education follows scientific methods, from research design to data collection, to reporting the results of the analysis. When producing an empirical research paper, the researcher should elaborate the rationale, the methodology including instrumentation, sampling, data collection, and data analysis. In this course, students who plan to conduct empirical research in the field of linguistics as well as students aiming to become foreign language teachers will learn how to design the research, analyze data, and report the results after acquiring basic knowledge for conducting empirical research.

・小テスト (30 %）2回目から15回目の授業で毎回行います。
・リアクションペーパー (20 %) 毎回の授業で行います。
・授業参加（20%）授業でのディスカッションや練習に積極的に参加して下さい。
・研究デザイン (30 %) 詳細な研究デザインを作成し、学期の最後に提出をしてもらいます。
・Weekly quiz (30 %) : every time from the 2nd to the 15th lessons.
・Reaction paper (20 %) : every lesson
・Classroom tasks and activities（20 %）students will actively participate in classroom tasks and activities.
・Final research report (30 %) : students will create a detailed research design and submit it at the end of the semester.
授業で資料を配布します。（Materials will be distributed in the class.）
推薦図書は授業で紹介します。（Recommended books will be introduced in the class.）
授業で配布する資料や文献を読み、自分なりの考えを発表できるようにする。興味のある研究テーマを見つける。
