Archaeology and Human Evolution

授業の目的と概要

この授業では、考古文化の発達と人類進化の関係について学ぶ。人類の各進化段階で起きた、認知、行動、文化、社会の発達について学び、人類の生物学的な進化と文化的発達の意味を理解する。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

In this course, the correlation between the development of archaeological cultures and the human evolution are explained. Students better understand the significance of the biological evolution of humans and cultural development by learning the advances in cognition, behaviors, cultures and societies corresponding to the human evolution.

学習の到達目標

人類の進化史と考古文化の発達史の概要を把握し、考古文化の発達に関する進化論的な意義についての理解を深める。

Learning Goals(学習の到達目標)

Students are supposed to learn the basis of the human evolution and the development of archaeological cultures so that they can better understand the evolutionary significance of the advances in archaeological cultures.
