地域の歴史資料の保全と継承を考える
Considering the preservation and succession of local historical materials
この講義では、地域社会に今なお膨大に残されている歴史資料を守り、伝えるための課題や、そのための実践を、座学、議論、および実際の地域での活動を通じて学んでいきます。特に、東日本大震災後の歴史資料レスキュー活動や、目下大きな課題になっている、地域社会に膨大に残されている古文書、民具その他の歴史資料をどのように守っていくのかについて討論や実際の体験を通じて、課題の所在を認識することを目的とします。
In this course, students will learn about issues to protect and pass on the vast amount of historical materials that still remain in the local community, as well as how to practice them, through lectures, discussions, and actual community activities. In particular, the purpose of this project is to identify the location of issues through discussion and actual experiences on how to protect the huge amount of old documents, tools and other historical materials left in local communities, which are currently a major issue, as well as the activities to rescue historical materials after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
・過去の歴史資料保存をめぐる経緯を踏まえながら、地域社会に残された歴史資料を継承するための課題を学びます。
・講義を通じて、「社会にとっての歴史研究者の存在意義とは何か」ということを自ら考える力を付けます。
・Based on the history surrounding the preservation of historical materials in the past, you will learn about the issues for inheriting the historical materials left in the local community.
・Through lectures, students gain the ability to think for themselves that "What is” the raison d'etre” of historians for society?".

・学部4年生が受講する場合、事前の手続きにより、大学院生対象の「認定アーキビスト」の必修単位とすることが出来ます。 This course can be taken by 4th year undergraduate students as a required credit for the "Certified Archivist" program for graduate students with prior approval.
