Reading Hegel's theory of the conscience in "Vorlesungen über die Philosophie des Rechts"
この授業では、G.W.F. ヘーゲルがベルリン大学で行った「法哲学講義」のうち、1824/25年度の講義における良心論を精読します。このテクストはヘーゲル自身の手によるものではなく、聴講生であるグリースハイムによる筆記録です。そのため、ヘーゲル自身のテクストに比べてかなり読みやすいです。
良心の問題は道徳と宗教の間を理解する上で重要であるだけでなく、ヘーゲルの中心思想である絶対精神や純粋な知の形成過程を知る上で極めて重要です。ヘーゲルの良心論を読み解くことで、近代ドイツ哲学の特有な点を理解することが出来るようになります。
また必要に応じて、ヘーゲルの主著である『精神現象学』における良心論のテクストも参照します。
We are going to read Hegel’s theory of the conscience in the Vorlesungen über die Philosophie des Rechts of 1824/25 in original German text. This text is a note form Hegel’s lecture in Berlin University, which is written by on of his students, names Griesheim.
The problem of conscience is the key to understand the relation between the moral and the religion, and more, to realize why Hegel must develop his theory of the absolut spirit (der absolute Geist) qua the pure science (das reine Wissen).
