A History of Western Aesthetics

授業の目的と概要

古代ギリシャの芸術論からカントやヘーゲルの哲学における美の理想まで、授業がヨーロッパ美学史の主な時期、著者、問題へ招待します。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

The course will offer an introduction to the main periods, authors and problems in the history of Western Aesthetics, beginning from Ancient Greece up to Kant and Hegel.

授業の目的は西洋美学の根本的な問題や概念を紹介し、生徒たちがそれらを自分の研究にも適用するように指導することである。

Aim of the course is introducing the fundamental problems and concepts of aesthetics, and guiding the students to apply them meaningfully in their own research interests
