Course Title (授業題目)

Special Lecture of Japanese Archaeology

授業の目的と概要

この講義では、日本の考古学研究史を通して、日本考古学の独自性と特徴を研究史を通して学びます。また、近年の考古学の課題や問題点を明示し、その解決方法に関する具体的な事例を解説します。特に、先史時代を主な対象として、自然環境や社会環境と、人類行動の関係を把握します。

Course Objectives and Course Synopsis(授業の目的と概要)

In this course, students will understand peculiarity and characteristics of archaeology in Japan. This course also offers an oppotunity to learn varous methods which proposed effective solution on archaeological issues in recent years. Especially, this course explains relationship between human activities and social/natural environments in Prehistory.

（1）考古学研究の歴史を理解する。（2）現在の考古学研究の方法を理解する。（3）人類が自然・社会・文化とのかかわりの中で生きてきていることを理解する。

Learning Goals(学習の到達目標)

The aim of this lecture is that students understand (1) historical isuuses of archaeological study, (2) methods and theories of archarology in recent years, (3) relationship between human activities and natural/social/cultural environmants.

本講義は、講義中心の授業です。毎回、パワーポイントのプレゼンテーションにより講義を進めます。内容とスケジュールは以下の通りです。

This is a lecture-centered course.　In every class, this course propose archaeological information with PPT presentations. The contents and schedule are as shown below:

6. basical understanding on environmantal change
7. comparative study of cultures
8. adaptation to the warm climate

11. scientific ethics and fabrication of the Lower Palaeolithic sites in Japan
12. pursuit of human races images
13. adaptative activities to the warmer environment in Holocene
14. emergence and development of agriculture
15. variety of plant utilization

成績評価方法

（Ｏ）筆記試験〔70％〕・　（Ｏ）出席〔30％〕　　　

Grading Plan(成績評価方法)

Students are evaluated on their points from the final test (70%) and attendance (30%).

教科書および参考書

教科書は使用せず、プリントを配布する。参考文献を講義中に随時提示する。

授業時間外学習

講義内で試験課題に対応した設問をおこなうので、時間外に文献などで調べること。
