太陽活動が地球に与える影響、大気変動への人間活動の影響を理解する。
授業の目的
１．「グローバル」をキーワードに、地球環境のエネルギー源である太陽の活動とその変動の地球への影響、人間活動・陸上生態系・海洋の活動等が大気組成を変動させるメカニズムや大気組成の変化が気候に及ぼす影響を理解することを目的とする。
２．この授業では、主に以下のような能力を修得することを目標とする。
・グローバルな視点から環境問題を捉える。
・地球環境に対する太陽放射エネルギーの役割を理解する。
・地球規模の大気変動に対する人間活動や生態系の影響を理解する。
授業の概要
太陽・地球系の放射エネルギー交換に係る物理的機構とその変動、オゾン層の役割と人間活動に起因するオゾン層破壊、温室効果ガスの変動と地球温暖化等について、メカニズムだけではなく地球規模の環境問題に対する国際的な取り組みも含めて解説する。村田が太陽・地球系の放射エネルギー交換に係る物理的機構とその変動、オゾン層の役割と人間活動に起因するオゾン層破壊について講義し、中島が集中講義で、地球環境問題の概要、地球大気の形成と変遷、地球大気と生物との関わり、地球温暖化とパリ協定の意義などに関する最近の話題について解説する。
Objective of the class
1. Learn the activity and the impacts to the Earth of the Sun which is the source of energy of the Earth's environment. Understand the mechanisms to change the atmospheric composition by activities of human being, terrestrial ecosystem, and ocean and impacts to the climate by the change of the atmospheric composition. 'Global' is the keyword of this class.
2. The goal of this class is to understand the following issues.
a) Thinking the environmental problems from a global perspective
b) The role of the energy from the Sun to the Earth's environment
c) Impact of activities of human being and ecosystem on the global atmospheric change
Overview of the class
Mechanisms of the radiative energy transfer between the Sun and the Earth and its variation, the role of ozone layer and the ozone depletion due to human activity, and the variations of the greenhouse gases and global warming are explained. The countermeasures including international effort for these global environmental problems are also explained.
Murata gives lectures on the radiative energy transfer between the Sun and the Earth, the role of ozone layer, and the ozone depletion due to human activity. Nakajima gives lectures on the summary of the Earth's environmental problem, the formation and transition of the Earth's atmosphere, the relation between Earth's atmosphere and biosphere, and the topics on the significance of the Paris Agreement on climate change as an intensive course.

新聞や書籍を通して、授業内容に関する情報や話題を収集すること。
Students are required to collect information and topics related to the content of the class using newspapers and books.
村田・中島それぞれの演習問題のレポートを総合して評価する。
但し、総合評価点が60点未満の場合は不合格とする。
Evaluation is performed comprehensively based on the reports by Murata and Nakajima.
Students whose evaluation points do not reach 60 can not get credits.
講義中に随時紹介する。
