Seminar in Management a

This seminar aims at developing research of students relating to nonprofit organization (and relevant topics such as NGO, civil society, social enterprise, and social capital).
The seminar consists of student presentations, class discussions, guidance and advice from the instructor on the research of nonprofit organization and its relevant fields.
To understand basic theories and practice of nonprofit organization (and its relevant fields).
To understand how to conduct literature review on nonprofit organization.
To identify outcomes and challenges of relevant literature on nonprofit organization.
To make and brush up research plan and start conducting research relating to nonprofit organization.
Presentations and discussions, guidance and advice on the research plan, literature review, and research of each student relating to nonprofit organization (and its relevant fields).
Presentation on research plan, literature review and/or research progress (50%), participation in class discussions and minute papers (50%)
A thorough preparation is expected for effective presentation and discussions.
Students are expected to prepare and share the presentation materials by 2 days before the presentation.
Students are expected to complete Minutes Paper on the research presentations at each class.
