Intermediate Macroeconomics

動学マクロ経済モデルの解法を習得し、標準的な経済成長理論と景気循環理論を学習する。経済成長と景気循環の背後にある経済学的メカニズムとそれに対する適切な経済政策について理解することを目的とする。
In this course, students will learn how to solve dynamic macroeconomic models and study standard economic growth and business cycle theories. The objective is to understand the mechanisms behind economic growth and business cycles and appropriate economic policies.
このコースを通して、以下の習得を目指す。
1.経済全体のメカニズム、および、総生産、雇用、賃金、利子率がどのように決まるかが説明できる。
2.基本的なモデル（経済成長、消費と貯蓄、景気循環など）を根底にある要因を描写できる。
3.経済政策や、外的ショックの経済への効果を厳密に評価できる。
The aims of this course are to
1. Students will be able to describe the overall economic mechanism and how GDP, employment, wages, and interest rates are determined.
2. Students will be able to describe the factors underlying the basic models (economic growth, consumption and savings, business cycles, etc.).
3. Students will be able to rigorously evaluate economic policies and the effects of shocks on the economy.

（５）内生的経済成長モデル

（９）貨幣経済（New Keynesian）モデル
（１０）世代重複(OLG) モデル
※時間があれば、その他の重要なトピックを扱う予定である。

(4) Optimal growth (Ramsey) model
(5) Endogenous growth model
(6) Consumption-Savings model
(7) Dynamic general equilibrium model
(8) Business cycle (RBC) model
(9) New Keynesian model
(10) Overlapping generations (OLG) model
Other important topics will be covered if time permits.
試験（60％）と課題（40％）。試験は、学期中と理解度確認期間の2回実施する。課題は、ほぼ全てのトピックの最後に問題を課し、提出を求める。
