Special Seminar on Comtenporary Economics Bb

本演習の目的は、以下の２つである。
①大学院生が現代経済学（近代経済学）の最先端の研究に触れることにある。外部講師の研究発表が主である。また、セミナーに参加した際にはセミナー内、もしくはセミナー後にコメントや感想を口頭・文書で作成する。
The purpose of this course is to expose graduate students to the latest intelligent research in modern economics. The main focus is on presentations by external speakers. Additionally, when attending seminars, students are expected to provide oral or written comments and feedback either during or after the seminar.
②本セメスターで修士論文を提出する大学院生は自分の研究論文の中間発表を行う。
Graduate students who will submit their master's thesis in this semester will give an interim presentation of their research paper.
経済学の最先端の研究に触れることを通じて、参加者自身が問題意識を形成し、経済学の発展に寄与するような独自の研究ができるようになるとともに、研究成果を公的な場でアピールするためのスキルを修得する。
The goal of this course is to find a research theme and acquire the skill of clear presentation.
今学期の演習参加者は、自身の論文発表の有無も含めて若林(midwak@tohoku.ac.jp )まで各自のDCメールアドレスを連絡すること。

演習にどれだけ積極的に参加しているかを評価する。単位を取得しようとする者は、
①すべての研究報告に出席するように努めること（出席状況は毎回チェックする）。
②現代経済学演習に所属する教員を指導教員とする4セメの学生は（単位取得にかかわらず）進捗研究発表をしなくてはならず、そのことも考慮する。該当する学生は単位取得如何にかかわらず第1回目のオリエンテーションに参加すること
As for the credit, the students will be evaluated on how actively they participate in the seminar.
(1) Students must make an effort to attend the seminar (attendance will be checked at each session).
(2) Students in the fourth semester whose advisor is a faculty member of the 現代経済学 （modern economics) are required to present their progress research (regardless of whether or not they receive credit), and this will also be taken into consideration. (Students who are required to do so must attend the first orientation regardless of whether or not they have earned credits.
