授業の目的と概要/Object and summary of class

自主研究能力を向上させるとともに研究成果を公表するため、受講生は自身の進行中の研究や関連する先行研究を発表し、指導を受ける。
In order to improve the independent research skills of participating students and publish the results of their research, students are required to present their own ongoing research or related previous research and receive guidance.

学習の到達目標/Goal of study

高度な研究を自律的に達成し，研究成果を公表できる能力を修得する。
To acquire the ability to independently achieve advanced research and publish research results.

授業内容・方法と進度予定/Contents and progress schedule of the class

各演習では、主に受講生による発表とディスカッションを行う。受講生は自身の専門分野での研究の進め方について指導を受ける。
Each seminar will consist primarily of presentations and discussions by the participants. Students receive guidance on how to conduct research in their area of expertise.

成績評価方法/Evaluation method

演習の参加状況・自主研究の進捗状況に基づいて評価する。
Students will be evaluated based on their presentations, participation in discussions, and progress in independent research.

教科書および参考書/Textbook and references

授業時間外学習/Preparation and Review

報告者は事前に十分な準備を行うこと。報告にあたっていない学生も、資料を読み、疑問点・問題点を整理した上で授業に臨むこと。
Reporters should make sufficient preparations in advance. Students who do not present must read the materials and clarify questions and comments before class. 

その他/In addition

指導教員が担当する演習(Ⅳ)a、bを履修するためには、演習(Ⅲ)a、bの単位を修得していなければならない。なお、履修の際には指導教員、指名教員と学習計画について充分協議の上、履修することが望ましい。
In order to take Seminar (IV) a or b given by the advisor, students must have acquired the credit of Seminar (III) a and b. Students are also encouraged to discuss their plan of study with their advisor and subadvisor prior to attending this seminar.
