Today's competition is no longer between firms but between supply chains. Thus, understanding supply chain management is vital to help students deeply understand how firms are operating and interacting with their supply chain partners to build competitiveness. This knowledge will help students quickly learn the operating system when they work for a company or when they want to make a start-up.
This course introduces the foundational knowledg of Supply Chain Management and focuses on developing students' skills to work in a global workplace or become start-up leaders.

At the end of this course, students are expected to
・Understand the fundamentals of supply chain management
・Understand today's global supply chains, plus trends like reshoring and near-shoring, and their issues
・Understand the use of information technology in supply chain optimization
・Develop skills: interpersonal skills in a teamwork, effective verbal and writing communication in English, critical thinking skills
In this course, while the lecturer explains the fundamental theories, students have to discuss problem-solving through cases to deepen their understanding and improve skills. The tentative schedule is as follows.
