Career Education Special Lecture (Journalism and Human Society)
ニュースの現場で活躍する読売新聞記者が授業を担当する。新聞を教材に講義、討論、文章作成などを重ねながら、ジャーナリズムと現代社会の諸相について考えていく。特に、高度情報社会に生きる一員として、変容が著しいマスメディアへの理解を深め、複雑化する現代社会に対する分析力を養うことに主眼を置く。取材演習を通じて、ニュースの編集や報道について体験的に学ぶ。講義や討論などにより、ジャーナリズムの実像や、ジャーナリストの社会問題に対する着眼点について認識を深める。発表、討論、文章作成など、アクティブ・ラーニングの手法を多用する。将来の進路としてマスメディアに関心がある者や、実社会の知識を活用していくためのヒントを得たい者の履修も歓迎する。
The Yomiuri Shimbun reporters who are active in the field of news reports will be in charge of the class together. We will think about various aspects of journalism and contemporary society by repeating lectures, discussions, writing sentences, etc. using newspapers as learning materials. We also welcome those who are interested in the mass media as a future course and those who want to get hints for utilizing knowledge in the real world.

・教材として読売新聞（朝刊）を用いる。準備の方法は初回授業で説明する。
・履修希望者が多い場合は、第１回の授業に出席した者を優先的に履修を認める。
・４セメスター以降での履修も歓迎する。

・In this class, the Yomiuri Shimbun (morning edition) will be used as learning material. The preparation method will be explained in the first class.
