初めてのフランス語（１）
French for beginners (1)
・初学者を対象に、フランス語の初歩をわかりやすく解説します。
・基礎的な英語の知識を応用した文法解説や読解練習を行います。
・フランス語の学習を通して、世界に対する複眼的視点を身につけます。
・映像やCDを使って、フランス語を読む・書く・聴く・話すための基礎的な能力をつけると同時に、フランス語圏の文化を学びます。
The purpose of this class is for beginners to learn basic French through their knowledge of English.
Students will acquire a worldview different from English or Japanese.
Students will learn francophone culture through music and visual images.
・フランス語の文法をひととおり習得します。
・フランス語の通じる発音、フランス語を目と耳から理解する力、つまり、簡単なコミュニケーションをとる能力が身につきます。
・フランス語圏の文化について理解します。
・旅行や留学生活に役立つ簡単な会話ができるようになります。
Students will acquire elementary French grammar and basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Students will understand some aspects of francophone culture.
Students will be able to use simple but useful expressions in everyday conversation.
・週2回の授業のうち、水曜の授業では、担当教員との会話、あるいは学生同士による会話練習を通して、さまざまなフランス語会話表現を身に付けます。
・金曜の授業では、フランス語文法を学びながら、基本的な語彙力を身につけ、正確にフランス語を書く力を養うことを目指します。
- This course is held twice a week. On Wednesday, students will develop their expressive skills through conversations with the teacher in charge or conversation practice with the students. On Friday, students learn French grammar, acquire basic vocabulary, and aim to improve their ability to write accurate French.

・水曜のクラスは、出席と平常点（20％）、テスト（80％）の割合で評価します。
・金曜のクラスは、出席と平常点（20％）、テスト（80％）の割合で評価します。
・水曜と金曜の成績を総合して評価します。
Class on Wednesday : Attendance and class participation 20%, examination 80%.
Class on Friday : Attendance and class participation 20%, examination 80%.
Wednesday's class grade and Friday's class grade will be combined to determine the final evaluation.
・フランス語の発音やつづりに慣れるため、くりかえし音声を聞いて発音してみること、発音しながらつづりを書くことが大切です。
・フランス語に慣れるため、ほぼ毎週宿題が出ます。
・各週の授業外学習時間は、（両方の授業合わせて）2時間は確保してください。
Students are required to prepare for the assigned part of the designated textbook for each class. They are also required to make a thorough review, mainly by completing assignments.
The session time is limited and therefore self-directed learning is important (more than 2 hours per week required).
