Sociology of Volunteering, Nonprofits, and NGOs
ニュースでも耳にすることのある「ボランティア」や「非営利組織（NPO）」「非政府組織（NGO）」は、私たちが暮らす社会において、どのような意義を持っているのでしょうか。ご自身の経験や身近な活動の例、そして理論の知見を手掛かりに、他者や社会に貢献する様々な行動を、社会学の観点から考察します。
・Google Classroomを利用します。クラスコードは別途アナウンスされます。
・対面授業を基本とします。ただし、担当教員の学会出張時等に、オンデマンド配信を活用することがあります。
We often hear news about "volunteers," "nonprofit organizations (NPOs)," and "non-governmental organizations (NGOs)." What are the significance of these voluntary actions in our society? This course will take a sociological perspective to analyze these actions from our own experience, examples around us, as well as relevant theories.
・This course will use Google Classroom for communication. Class code will be announced separately.
・The class will meet in-person. Howeveｒ, on-demand videos may be used when the instructer is on conference trips.

この科目の内容は、2019年度・2020年度・2021年度に開講した基幹科目「社会の構造 －ボランティアとNPO・NGOの社会学」および展開科目「社会学 －現代における市民社会」と重複します。そのため、いずれの授業も履修していない学生の履修を推奨します。
Contents taught in this course overlap those covered in "Structure of the Society: Sociology of Volunteering, Nonprofits, and NGOs" and "Sociology: Civil Society in the Contemporary World" taught in 2019, 2020, 2021. This course is recommended for students who have NOT enrolled in the above courses.
