レーニンからプーチンへ - 20～21世紀ロシア・ソ連の歴史
From Lenin to Putin - History of Russia and Soviet Union: 20-21-th centuries
2022年2月に始まったロシアによるウクライナ侵略は、約2年経過した現在も終息の兆しは見えない。ロシアは国連安保理常任理事国の一国として国際社会で軍事的、政治的に重要な役割を果たしている。今日のロシアを深く理解するためには、その過去を理解する必要がある。20世紀初頭から現在に至る100年余りの歴史、3つの国家が入れ替わった歴史を概観することが本授業の目的である。日露戦争で幕を開けた20世紀初めのロシア帝国時代、1917年のロシア革命による帝国の崩壊、帝国を引き継ぐ新しい社会主義国家ソ連の誕生、レーニンやスターリンによる国家改造、独ソ戦争後の米国と並ぶ超大国としての出現と東西冷戦、ゴルバチョフによるペレストロイカとソ連の崩壊、新生ロシアの誕生とプーチンの長期政権という大きな流れをたどる。
Even though almost two years have passed since Russia invaded Ukraine, the war shows no signs of coming to an end. Russia (the Russian Federation), a permanent member of the UN Security Council, is a country with important military and political roles in the international community. To better understand Russia today, however, one has to understand the nation's past. This course aims to provide an overview of the history of Russia over the past 100 years, including the history of its three States -- Russia, the Soviet Union, and the Russian Federation. This lecture includes topics as follows. The Russo-Japanese War, World War Ⅰ, Russian Revolution of 1917 and the collapse of Russian Empire, the birth of the Soviet Union and reorganization of statehood in the socialist principles by Lenin, Stalin, the emergence of Great Power after the Great Patriotic War, the Cold War, Perestroika by Gorbachev and the demise of Soviet Union, Putin’s long-term reign in the twenty-first century etc.

期末筆記試験60％、授業の理解度（ミニットペーパー等）４0％によって評価する。
教科書は使用しない。
Evaluation is performed comprehensively based on final examination (60%) and submitted reports.
No textbooks will be used. Students should take notes on their own.
授業時間は限られているので、自主学修が重要である。毎回の授業の復習を徹底すること。授業中に小テストを行うことがある。それも評価に組み込む。
The session time is limited and therefore self-directed learning is important. Students are required to make a thorough review.
パソコンの持ち込みは不要
必要に応じて、資料（プリント等）を配布する。
オフィスアワーは、水曜10時半～12時、13時～15時とする。事前にE-mailで連絡すること。
References (handouts) are provided, when needed.
Office hours are from 10:30 to 12:00, 13:00-15:00 on Wednesdays.
