【国際共修】仙台の商店街を活性化して仙台全体を盛り上げよう（日本語）Economic revitalization of Sendai and its shopping districts（Japanese）
多様な文化的背景を持つ学生が、ディスカッションや協働作業をしながら、商店街の抱える課題を解決するための提案をします。
この授業を通して、仙台の産業や商店街に対する理解を深め、コミュニケーションの取り方、プロジェクトワークの進め方、データの分析方法について学びます。また、課題に対する解決策を他のメンバーと協力しながら検討し、発表資料作成能力、グループで発表できる能力、他の発表の聞き方の能力などを身につけます。
Students from diverse cultural backgrounds will participate in discussions and cooperative projects to generate proposals for solving problems facing the Sendai shopping districts.
Through this class,student will deepen their understanding of Sendai's industry and shopping district, and learn how to communicate, how to proceed with project work, and how to analyze data. Students will study solutions to problems in cooperation with other members, and acquire the ability to create presentation materials, make presentations in groups, and listen to other presentations.
・東北や仙台地域の産業や商業、観光客受入やインバウンドの状況について理解する。
・商店街を訪問し、商店街や仙台市全体が活性化するための具体的なアイディアを出せる。
・チームで協働し、プロジェクトを実行することができる。
-Understand the current status of industry, commerce, and domestic/inbound tourism in the Tohoku and Sendai region.
-Visit the shopping districts and formulate specific ideas about how to economically revitalize the shopping districts and Sendai as a whole.
-Learn how to collaborate with a team to implement a project.

授業への出席attendance・minute paper（30%）、授業への貢献度・グループワーク参加度 participation and contribution to the class (30%)、発表presentation (20%)、レポートreport（20%）
各回授業に時間通りに来られるように各自が責任をもち臨むこと。やむを得ない理由により授業を欠席する場合は、すみやかに（できる限り授業の前に）授業担当教員に連絡すること。10分以上の遅刻が2回あれば1回の欠席とみなします。3回の欠席があれば単位付与されません。
課題等の提出物は指定されたルールと提出期限を守ること。守られない場合は成績評価の対象とならない場合があります。
成績基準は以下の通りです。
AA: 特に優秀 (90-100点)
A: 優秀 (80-89点)
B: 良好 (70-79点)
C: 可 (60-69点)
D: 不可または履修放棄 (59点以下)
Students are responsible for ensuring that their schedule allows them to come to class on time. If a student wishes to be excused from a class due to unavoidable reasons, such as illness or a family emergency, it is the responsibility of the student to inform the instructor of the absence as soon as possible (preferably before the expected absence). Two late arrivals (10 minutes or more) will be equal one absence. Three missed classes will equal to a failing grade.
Students must abide by the rules and deadlines set for assignments. If students do not abide by the set rules and deadlines, the assignments may not be evaluated.
Grades for the course will be assigned as follows:
AA: Excellent (90-100 points)
A: Good (80-89 points)
B: Fair (70-79 points)
C: Passing (60-69 points)
D: Fail (59 points and below)
