君たちはこの映画から何を読み取るか
本授業は、特定の映画監督や映画作品について講義を行う。そして人間が創り出す芸術的表現について、理論や技術、歴史を学ぶことを目的としている。
In this class, lectures will be given on specific film directors and film works. And the purpose is to learn the theory, technique and history of artistic expression created by human beings.
本授業では、ミロス・フォアマン監督映画『アマデウス』と、山田尚子監督映画『リズと青い鳥』を題材とし、講義や討議を介してその芸術的表現を読み解くことを目標とする。なお単にアニメーションが好きだからという履修はお断りする。芸術研究の作品として「アニメーション」を選んだものであることをご注意願いたい。
IIn this class, we will use the films "Amadeus" by Milos Forman and "Liz and the Blue Bird" by Naoko Yamada as our subjects, and aim to decipher their artistic expressions through lectures and discussions. Students are not allowed to take this course simply because they like animation. Please note that "animation" was chosen as a work of artistic research.

期末レポート（テーマ論述）により評価する予定である。
The course will be evaluated by a final examination (theme essay).
授業時間外での視聴も必要となる。必要に応じて課題や指導を行う予定である。
Students will be required to watch the videos outside of class time. Assignments and guidance will be provided as needed.
授業へのパソコン持ち込みは自由である。
「リズと青い鳥」精読作業（アクティブラーニング）の際には、音響効果の理解のためイアホン使用を推奨する。
Students are free to bring their own computers to class.
During "Liz and the Blue Bird" reading (active learning), use of earphones is recommended to understand the sound effects.
本授業は「講義をきく」という受け身スタイルだけではなく、学生が主体的・積極的に調べ、討議し、学び取って行くスタイルも取り入れる。意欲的な学生の受講を期待する。
教室には収容定員があるため希望者が定員を超過した場合には、やむなくセレクションを行うことがある。なお優先はしないがセレクションでは吹奏楽部の経験を問う。
In this class, we will not only take a passive style of "listening to lectures," but we will also adopt a style in which students will independently and actively research, discuss, and learn. We expect motivated students to take this class.
If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity of the classrooms, we may have no choice but to hold a selection. No preference will be given, but previous brass band experience will be considered.
