Introduction to the Spanish World (I)
＜目的＞
スペイン語は、19カ国以上で使われている言葉であり、約6億人の人が話している言葉です。今日の高度情報社会では、インターネットのない生活は考えられません。インターネットでは3番目に多く使われている言葉でもあります。近年、スペイン語圏に旅行する人が増えていることや、ビジネスチャンスとして世界中でスペイン語を学ぶ人が増えています。スペイン語を学ぶことで、より国際的な視野が広がることが期待できます。この授業では、スペイン語の基礎的運用能力を身につけると同時に、スペイン語圏の文化について理解を進めていきながら、「話す、聞く、読む、書く」のスキルを身に付けていくことを目的としています 。
＜概要＞
基本的な文章の理解や買い物、旅行等の日常でよく使う会話について学び、スペイン語の読み書きができるようになることを目指します。
Spanish is the official language in 20 countries around the world, comprising almost 600 million speakers. In today's highly information-oriented society, life without the internet seems to be unthinkable. In that important context, Spanish is the third most commonly used language on the Internet. By studying Spanish, you can internationally expand your horizons and enlarge your sphere of knowledge and international communication. Besides, the language can unlock a world of travel destination for you too.
Object of Class: this course is designed to provide students with basic knowledge of the Spanish language and culture in Spain and Hispanic countries through a program that lets the students obtain a solid foundation in the language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. For those purposes, the program covers the necessary aspects of grammar, vocabulary, conversation and culture.
Summary of Class: students will be able to read and write basic sentences, understand frequently used phrases and expressions and carry out habitual daily tasks and communication exchanges in Spanish.

２．聞く；基本的な会話を聞き取ることができる。
３．読む；ポスターやカタログ、メッセージなど短い文章を読むことができる。
４．書く；ポストカードやメッセージなど短い文章を書くことができる。宿泊者名簿に名前や住所などを記入することができる。
基礎スペイン語Ⅱ修了時において、スペイン語の基本的な特徴を理解した上で、日常生活での基本的な表現を理解し、ごく簡単なやり取りができるようなスペイン語運用能力（Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)ヨーロッパ言語共通参照枠Ａ１レベル）を習得していることを目指します。
Goal of Study
Satisfy the requirements for level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which let the students do the following tasks in the following areas:
1. Spoken interaction: students can interact in a simple way, ask and answer simple questions about themselves, where they live, people they know, and things they have, initiate and respond to simple statements in areas of immediate need or on very familiar contexts.
2. Listening: students can understand basic conversation and recognize familiar words and basic phrases concerning themselves, their family and immediate concrete surroundings.
3. Reading: students can understand simple texts, for example, on notices and posters or in catalogues.
4. Writing: students can write simple message or postcard. They can fill in forms with personal details, for example entering name, nationality and address on a hotel registration form.

Preparation and Review:
1. Students should review the materials learned in class by making sentences in oral and written contexts.
2. Students should make preparations (vocabulary and grammar) for the next lesson.
3. The review of lessons (vocabulary, grammar, dialogues, exercises, etc.) must cover at least four hours per week outside of class.
授業へのパソコン持ち込みは不要です。
It is not necessary for the students to bring their own computers to class.
1. ヨーロッパ言語共通参照枠Ａ１レベル習得のためのテキスト「Español en Marcha」Francisca Castro Viúdez著 ＩＳＢＮ (2021)；978-8417730390 出版ＳＧＥＬ を参考に作成したオリジナルのテキストを使用します。テキストは、Google Classroomで見ることができます。
2. 授業は対面で行います。必要に応じてオンラインの授業を行う場合もあります。その場合は、Google meetまたはZoomで行います。
3. 試験を受けるためには、全体の 75%以上の出席を要する。
In Addition
1. An original text specially designed to satisfy the students’ need in terms of grammar, vocabulary, exercises, dialogues and culture is used in class. Instructional material can also be found in Google Classroom. For reference, students can see “Español en Marcha”, written by Francisca Castro Viúdez, ISBN: 978-8417730390, publishing company: SGEL (2021), (A1 CEFR).
2. Classes will be conducted in a face-to-face format. If, due to exceptional circumstances, classes should be conducted online, the teacher and students would meet via Zoom as a platform.
3. Attendance of 75% is required to be eligible for taking the final examination.
