家畜人工授精師およびウシ受精卵移植師の資格を得るための実習を行う。
Practice to get qualifications of domestic animal artificial inseminator and transplantation of bovine embryo.
動物生殖科学の応用として、子牛の生産にかかわる人工授精および受精卵（胚）移植の技術を習得することが本授業の目的である。牛における発情徴候の観察（発情の判別）および直腸検査法による腹腔内生殖器の触診（触感把握）を行う。また、経膣注入技術を習得する。
As an application of animal reproductive science and domestic artificial insemination theory, students study techniques of artificial insemination related to calf production and fertilized ovum (embryo) transplantation. Observation of the signs for estrus in cattle, practice palpation of the genitals in abdominal cavity by rectal examination, and artificial insemination of cattle and embryo transplantation are demonstrated. This essential practice qualifies students to apply qualification of domestic animal inseminator and a fertilized ovum transplant.
