生命現象の基盤となる遺伝子・ゲノムの機能と、その分子メカニズム
Functions of genes/genome, and molecular mechanisms involved in their regulation
遺伝子の本体であるDNAの物理的な特徴を理解すると共に、クロマチンとして細胞核内に納められた遺伝子やゲノムDNAの構造や特徴を学ぶ。さらに、転写、RNA翻訳、DNA複製、DNA損傷修復などのゲノム機能が、そのような分子メカニズムによって発現、制御されているかを学ぶ。
This class deals with the following subjects: characteristics of DNA; structure and features of genome arranged into chromatin in the cell nucleus;
DNA、RNA、遺伝子、ゲノム、ヌクレオソーム、クロマチン、エピジェネティクス、遺伝子転写、RNA翻訳、DNA複製、DNA損傷修復

・DNA、遺伝子、ゲノムの特徴を理解する。
・ヌクレオソームとクロマチンの構造と機能を理解する。
・転写における基本反応と、その制御機構を理解する。
・RNA翻訳、DNA複製、DNA損傷修復などのゲノム機能の基本反応と制御について理解する。
