沿岸生物の多様性を実際に体験し、その重要性を知る。
Practical field study for biodiversity around a coastal area and for conservation and production of aquatic organisms.

授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

寒流(親潮)と暖流(黒潮)が混合する海域に位置し、対馬暖流が沿岸域を南下する三陸沿岸の生物の多様性、環境の多様性を実感し、その重要性を知ることを目的とする。具体的には東北大学農学部の女川フィールドセンターに宿泊して、実際に沿岸岩礁域潮間帯で生物を採集、形態による分類とその機能、分布域との関連性を調べ、種、形態、分布、生態、環境、機能等の多様性について考察する。

学習の到達目標/Goal of Study

牡鹿半島沿岸の岩礁域潮間帯に生息する生物種を採集し、同定する。それらの形態的特徴と生態的特徴、環境との関連性について考察する。

実施期間は9月初旬〜中旬の3日間である。実施日など詳細については、教務掲示板にて掲示する。20名程度が履修できる。
履修希望者が多い場合には抽選とする。新型コロナウィルスの影響で実施形態が変更になったり、中止することもありうる。
