酵素を中心とした生化学

Mechanisms of enzyme action.

授業の目的と概要/Object and Summary of Class

生命はタンパク質・酵素が正しく機能することによって維持されている。生化学の基礎を学び、酵素の構造と機能の重要性を理解する。まず、タンパク質を扱う生化学の基礎、具体的には、タンパク質精製法、立体構造の成り立ちを解説する。その上で、酵素反応速度論、酵素活性調節、触媒メカニズム、さらに、タンパク質の合成における酵素の役割、酵素がもたらす病態への創薬法を解説する。

The life is maintained by proteins and enzymes functioning definitely. The course offers an opportunity to learn the biochemical basics and understand the structure and function of enzyme. At first, the biochemical basics about protein purification and protein structure are overviewed. Then, we study enzymes specifically; kinetics, regulation, catalytic mechanism of enzymes, and drug design targeting enzymes in diseases.

The purpose of this course is to help students better understand catalytic mechanisms of enzyme reaction and physiological function of enzymes.

授業内容・方法と進度予定/Contents and Progress Schedule of the Class-1-授業計画

基本的に対面で行います。ミニッツペーパー（出席・質問受付）での質問事項の解説を含めて進めます。また，小テスト（毎回）とレポート課題（４回程度）は，以下のClassroomで配信，受けつけます。

成績評価方法/Record and Evaluation Method

出席状況（ミニッツペーパー，講義中の質問など）と課題レポート，試験の成績に基づいて総合的に評価を行う。講義中の積極的な質問・取り組み（講義への積極的な参加）を期待する。
Evaluation of grade point (GP) will be achieved by total estimation based on the attendance records, report for assignment and examination.

教科書：ヴォート「生化学（上）、第４版」（東京化学同人）、ヴォート「生化学（下）、第４版」（東京化学同人）　　　　　　　参考書：ヴォート「基礎生化学、第５版」（東京化学同人）。教科書、参考書は、大学生協にて購入可能。教材のプリント(pdf)も配布する。
The textbook are available for purchase at the University Co-op. Refferences are handed out at every class.
