History of food crops, morphology / physiology, cultivation technique and usage characteristics
食用作物は人類の食料の基幹であり，世界的な人口増加に伴い今後一層需要の増加が見込まれる．
本科目では，主要な穀類，豆類，イモ類および雑穀を対象に，その来歴，形態・生理，栽培技術および利用特性に関する知識の習得を目標とする．
Food crops are the backbone of human food and are expected to further increase in demand as the world populationincreases.
In this course, we aim to acquire knowledge on its history, morphology / physiology, cultivation technique andusage characteristics of major cereals, legumes, potatoes and millets.

1.作物の起源と歴史
Origin and history of crops
連続授業の2講時目の最後に授業内容の理解度に関するテストを行う（30%）．その他出席や授業への関心（30%）およびテスト（40%）で評価を行う．テストはレポートになる場合があります．
At the end of the second class of the continuous class, a test on the level of understanding of the class contents will be conducted (30%). Other evaluations are based on attendance and interests in classes (30%) and tests (40%).
